What is the difference between Kool Cat and the Miva cart?
Kool Cat is an older cart that miva still offers - it does not support all of the new features Miva Merchant does.

How do I customize my screen?
Select a template (the best is Miva, not Kool Cat) and then after completing the Wizard go to "Advanced Account Administration." Then select "Stores" and then the title of the store you want to configure. From there you will be able to add in images (or change ones that have already been added), font changes, background colors, ect.

Customizable images:
You can create your own images such a basket, log-in and log-out buttons, etc. You can make these changes under the store name and then under the link that says "buttons."

How do I change your Admin password?
On the left hand side of the advanced admin screen click on user and then click on the user log-in id you would like to change the password on. You will pull up a screen with the user name and then a place to change the password.

How can I add a username and password"
Click on the left-hand side where it says "user." Then click "add user." This allows you to add a new user name and password (good for creating multiple stores)

How do I change my user ID?
On the left-hand side click on the store name. Then under "edit store" select "identification." Then where it says "manager" select the browser box on the right hand side. Out of that browser box you can select a user name that has been set up under the user tab.

Creating a new user with admin rights for log in purposes:
Users have two features. One being a normal store manager or having privileges such as admin rights. If you want a user to have admin rights you must select that option when setting up the user.
