When you start a new web hosting account with One World, you'll either purchase a domain name from us (or receive one free for annual accounts), or you'll own one already that you plan to use.
If you purchase one from us, then it will automatically be "pointed" at our servers, so that when the registration is complete (24-48 hours) it will show your web site in any browser.
If you already own a domain name that you plan to use, then it must be modified so that it "points" to our servers, and ultimately to your new site. The quickest way to re-point your domain name to your new account is to do it yourself by following the instructions.
For those customers who already own a domain name and want us to help them "re-point" it to our servers, go to:

Fill out the form on the left side of the page (option #1). Having us do it can take a little longer (6-12 hours), but if you don't want to have to worry about it it's the way to go.
The process above will modify or repoint your Domain Name Server or DNS information. Many of our customers are also interesting in a separate but related process - Transferring Registrars.
"Transferring" is the process of changing registrars from the original registrar, say Network Solutions, to a new registrar like our AAA Domain Register. There are two advantages to this:
- Lower cost
- Better service - deal with us for both your domain name and host account.
The Transfer process is similar to re-pointing. Just go to:
